I just participated at the SCCA Rally Cross event at the Holly Tree Off-Toad Park in Alabama for my very first time. It was because of Jennifer at Fierce Motorsports that I was able to inexpensively try out Rally Cross without fear of damaging my own daily driver in the process. Jennifer showed me the ropes and explained how everything works but most of all, expressed how it was more about having fun. She is not only knowledgeable about all things related to motor mechanics, but she is friendly and personable, with a special focus on empowering women with the knowledge required to make basic auto repairs themselves. I paid for an auto inspection/lesson with Jennifer and it honestly feels like the best money I've ever spent on a mechanic. She went very in-depth as she explained to me all the inner workings of my Camry, while showing me where everything goes and why. Throughout the lesson she made sure I fully understood everything we were discussing, and provided me the opportunity to ask clarifying questions or have her repeat herself if needed. Jennifer has also stayed in contact with me and does her best to be available if I need to message her about anything car-related. Today, she helped me ensure I bought the right battery for my car after the other one died, and I felt SO empowered after successfully changing my own battery following her lesson.
